NANO-SCANNING

Nano-Scanning is a data visualization competition entry. The call required the visualization of a biological cell. The proposal presented here, recreates and speculates on representations of nano-photogrametry or data scanning to capture the information texture of the morphology of the call. The visualization uses autonomous agents to redraw the structure of the cell, and brownian motion to add aesthetic expressivity. The visualizations explore an aesthetic of uncertainty and incomplete information.
